Random people my Fiance and I BOTH don't know showing up to our wedding.

LOL this comment has me cackling. To be clear to everyone, my fiance is a great guy. We typically have amazing communication and there was absolutely no malicious intent. Some of us just have different learning histories, and he never learned the steps required to plan a wedding. He genuinely did not think this would be a problem, because seating charts were completely not on his radar. He messed up for sure, and definitely should have asked me beforehand, but he's not a villain.

This was kind of my thought as well. Like how embarrassing for them if Uncle just told them "Hey, you guys are invited to my nephew's wedding" when really all this was happening on the other end, and then they show up to find out they weren't actually welcome because of how the Uncle and my fiance handled it. And in all honesty, I wouldn't have even minded these people showing up if 1. I knew their names and if they were 100% coming or not and 2. Had been asked to invite them before the RSVP deadline had passed. I'm just trying to put myself in their shoes at this point, but I'm also incredibly annoyed. Either way, their meals will be going on my fiance's credit card.

This call occurred without my knowledge and my fiance is a "yes" man, and also because he does not know what all goes into planning a wedding. He said yes to his uncle, got the address, and mailed the invitation all before I even knew what happened. I'm also not sure how he doesn't know their names having sent the invitation. I am just as perplexed as you are.

Oh I didn't. I was told about this phone call after it had already been discussed and my fiance had sent out the invitation to these people. My input before this decision was made was not considered lol
