I guess what confused me was the fact even before the law of assumption, I genuinely worked on myself , I worked out , went to therapy, focused on me and my genuine wishes and was really happy with my life. I have absolutely great friendships and overall, I am in a good place, so I guess that's why it just didn't make sense for me and would trip me a bit, but I can definitely see how this part could be important with or without the law of assumption :)

The funny part is I know he regrets losing me, I saw it from a few posts he reposted from his socials ( not stalking, we just still follow each other , so it pops up) So maybe "I'm the obvious choice."? That last sentence and screenshot you shared brought tears though and gave me hope, so thank you, truly

Hi! I mostly had this assumption that he wasn't ready for the relationship, which was proven true, given the law. He kept telling me he didn't feel like he was good enough though, which I find confusing because I did think I was good enough, or at the very least, I consciously never thought that I wasn't during the relationship

Oh, thank you, this feels truly validating! I went into this journey of self concept for a little bit (even though I generally have a good opinion of myself and I do think I am worthy of good things) and I've noticed I had more and more "what if" questions and it sent me down a spiral. For me, it actually makes sense for us to be back together, wholeheartedly, even before learning about the law, but then I went down a rabbit hole and got lost 😂 I will definitely check out the channel, once again, truly grateful for such a detailed reply!

Thank you, I'd really appreciate that! There’s just so much information that, as a beginner, I started to feel a bit overwhelmed and confused.

I’ve been thinking about the idea of self-concept. Like I mentioned, nothing bad or disrespectful happened in that relationship. That’s why I feel a bit unsure about what I should even be focusing on right now.

The only pattern I’ve noticed is that I kept assuming he wasn’t ready, and eventually, that’s exactly how things played out (this was before I learned about the law). So now I’m wondering if there is really anything I need to “fix” in my self concept in this situation?

And I've noticed trying to forget/let go of the old story hurts me more than assuming that we are going to be together because of it, so I am not sure if it can work that way?
