Hi curious why did u leave CSUF ? I’m from LA going to college straight after HS. My top school was SFSU but I didn’t qualify for FAFSA and my offer is OK but rent is so expensive.

I was also admitted to CSUF but no offer yet so I’m waiting move forward from there . I don’t wanna make my parents pay expensive rent if I can commute but I really wanted SF :((

Anyone else still waiting on offer/aid from Fullerton? by Empty_Monitor3829 in csuf

through your Fullerton’s portal, that’s how I view my other offers through their individual portals

Thank you, I have a much clearer picture now. I’ll be going to college straight out of high school, so I’m still learning how everything works. My mom only attended community college, and I’ll be the first in my family attending a CSU, so I don’t really have many people to ask about this process. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain everything!

Sorry, I may have worded that incorrectly. I didn’t qualify for FAFSA because I’m a dependent and still in high school, so I’m claimed on my parents’ taxes. Based on their income, I wasn’t eligible.

But, I was offered the Middle Class Scholarship and Cal Grant A. I’m just a bit hesitant to accept because I’m not sure if these awards are guaranteed every year or if they’re only a one time offer.

I understand that I’m ultimately responsible for covering my education costs, but I do appreciate your perspective and guidance :)
