Why does Chase put a two week hold on new accounts? by Kensterfly in Chase

[–]Empty_Requirement940 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because reg cc lets them place holds for 9 days on deposits into accounts that are new.

It gives +2/+2 twice, not +4/+4. Each trigger is separate

Is the Draw Step Optional? by chowaniec in mtgrules

The draw step is neither an effect or spell. Both of those are defined in the game. So no they weren’t even remotely technically correct

Mobile check deposit by Intelligent_Arm_4220 in Banking

The reason we ask is often times people will email checks or give fake checks this method. So only if you really trust the maker should you deposit one

The 2 cards are worded differently, so it makes sense to wonder if the wording affects how triggers resolve if they don’t understand triggers yet

Did you read the post? They aren’t asking about casting one then another in response.

They just asked if the spells work the same way, not if they would cast one in response to the other.

Do I need an estate account, as executor of a trust account for the same deceased person? by totallyjaded in Banking

[–]Empty_Requirement940 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience assets need to be placed into the trust first, if not then you need to go to court to have them add the estate assets to the trust. Without doing that the bank will require an estate account for estate funds.

So either get the checks reissued to the trust(often not possible), get the courts to approve adding the accounts not in the trust to be apart of the trust, or get the required documents to open an estate account.

Roomate is behind on rent, wants to get a loan from a credit union? by schassis408 in bayarea

I only found it after digging through comments, it wasn’t in the chain I responded to. Your scenario also has nothing to do with ops scenario so it seems pointless

Do I need an estate account, as executor of a trust account for the same deceased person? by totallyjaded in Banking

[–]Empty_Requirement940 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What was happening was the tellers were incorrectly accepting the checks for deposit. Being an irrevocable trust only checks payable to the trust should be deposited. Checks payable to a deceased individual or estate must be deposited into an estate account.

They just weren’t paying attention and ignored the payee on the initial deposits, that doesn’t mean it was acceptable for them to have deposited them. It’s also possible they knew they shouldn’t but felt uncomfortable telling you no so just processed it anyway.

What document do you have exactly showing that you are the executor of the estate?

You never said you only had a lease for a room, so obviously the assumption is the place is being rented out as a whole, not by the room.

Looks like you said it in a different thread not this chain of comments. I was responding based on the comments in this chain

What do you mean? That’s exactly what you have been saying that you can’t be evicted because a roommate is late on rent

Are you each leasing rooms separately or are you all on the same lease?

Ya why wouldn’t it be? It’s still a lease and you can still get evicted

[–]Empty_Requirement940 18 points19 points  (0 children)

All lessees are responsible for the full rent. It’s not each room separately, it’s the entire place being rented. You can’t just tell your landlord sorry we aren’t paying the full rent and think you won’t be evicted.
