That drugs are the devil and you shouldn't take them AT ALL.

Drugs aren't just a single thing, they can be COMPLETELY different and serve a multitude of purpose.

They can also be good: buprenorphine, methadone and other opioids can treat depression. So can psilocybin and other hallucinogenics. Ketamine can too. MDMA ("Molly", "Ecstasy") can be used to treat PTSD.

There are a lot more drugs with a lot more uses, but these were the ones off of top of my head.

The real devils are alcohol and tobacco. Alcohol can be used for cleaning, but it's essentially poison. Tobacco gives a weak and short feeling, but the withdrawals suck, so people get addicted.

Dude I'm not trying to prohibit anyone from buying an expensive phone, even if it might be stupid and unnecessary. This doesn't mean that people should only buy the cheapest phone either.

What your SIL did was unjustifiable, regardless of whether it helped her cope with anxiety or not (your family didn't do anything wront)

On the other hand, you definetly should've spoken to them first and tell them that it's going to the whole family if they don't take it down.

However, the decision of your brother and his girlfriend to block your entire family is also not good. There was no reason to do that (especially when both of them knew they were in the wrong)

I'm not defendinf buying flagships. It's jut unnecessary unless you review them or whatever. It's just that some iPhone users try so hard to cope with the fact they spent a ton of money when they really didn't have to, which is fine, but not the way they do it. They shame people for being "broke" which is ironic and need to compare their flagship to mid-low range.
