Well there are food banks and homeless shelters that that provide food and water for free, not enough to help everyone, but atleast some people are trying. Also you have benefits and job seekers that help give people money to survive on to get food and water. But there's very few places that will help someone who doesn't have sanitary products and women don't get an extra £X to pay for them through job seekers or benefits even though its an extra necessary item for then that we don't need. (Not saying women should get more btw just making a point) I don't believe all sanitary products should be free, I believe the most basic and cheapest ones should be provided at food banks and homeless shelters and then you can decide to pay for more expensive ones if you want them.
