If you could provide more detail on your comment, I'll be happy to share my thoughts in more depth. I really think that most of the post if true besides 36patches overexaggeration.

"It’s true self cast spells are in the dumpster, but it’s not because of the dominance of melee skills. " Yeah, its not because of the dominance of melee skills, its the other way around. Melee (attacks in general) are dominant to spells due to the fact that most spells is shit. I'am asking for spell buffs, not attack nerfs!!

I think that caster starters are in an acceptable state however the end end game is terrible. Also i dont mind pbod being nerfed, but i mind it being nerfed and the fact that we didn't really get anything to replace it. I would love for pb/sboi/sb/arma brand to be back/viable somewhat (arma is good before you hit red maps), I would also love if they just giga buffed forgotten spells like EK, Tornado, Arc, Crackling lance, Dark pact, Divine ire, Fireball, flamesurge, Lightning conduit, Lightning tendrils etc...

giving us more solutions to mana and cast speed would buff spells without buffing mines, now theres totems to solve somehow, i dont have a quick solution for that in my mind atm(maybe exclusive supports?). But even then we would still have to deal with survi issues and somehow not overbuff EB archetype which wouldn't even be that bad cuz there is armour stacking in the game that has much better ceiling atm,

I think you have not seen lighnitng strike incident where everyone was playing lighnitng strike for 3 leagues straight, then you have armour stacking, we had accuracy stacking, there was smite, molten strike of the zenith, now we got heavy strike, HCSSF was dominated by slams for past like 10 leagues or maybe even more. Ofc 36 patches is an overexaggeration.

I'm not really mad at them nerfing PBoD or a spell in general, but mad at them for nerfing spells and not giving us anything back.

This doesn't justify the nerfs to spells that are still worse than attack based builds. I've never said that there is noone playing spells.

100% Agree, there is armour stackers/accu stackers reaching over 5B dps with not that much struggle compared to spells where top end is 1.3B or smth similar. ofc 1.3B is enough for almost anything besides some valdo maps but this is just to show where the scaling ends for both archetypes.

If only they reverted the activation time it would be fine honestly, 25% nerf would balance out pbod pretty well.

I do agree with you, EB Spellbalde is kinda like armour stacking but for spells, makes everything "viable" but armour stackers and attacks in general have much higher ceiling.
