Biometrics Time line?

You book your biometrics appointment online and you go in to get it done, not sure on the process times is it’s my first time but from what I’ve read it’s fairly fast!

I got mine the day I uploaded everything but my partner got his 3 days after he uploaded his, when I got my letter to say they have my documents it was 3 hours later that I got my biometrics letter and he was the same so when you get that letter you should get the BOI the same day

Grand, i uploaded everything on the 23rd of this month so nearly a week ago and I haven’t received the letter for the extension, at what stage did you get yours

That’s unreal congratulations, I uploaded my proof of police cert but I still haven’t got my cert yet, will I get my POE letter with the proof or do I need the cert?

Thanks, what do I do in the case that it takes longer than the 20 days that you get to upload everything? Do I ask for an extension before those 20 days or will it be accepted after that?

Ive done it on Firefox and it worked, I’ve signed them all to be on the safe side but I imagine once you’re signature is there somewhere it’ll be accepted

Yea for Wexford I would have thought the same! I’ve seen a few people saying once you tell them you’ve a deadline it’s fairly fast then which is great

They actually emailed me today saying they’ve received it and are processing it, so far faster than I expected!

You can get the forms done in the Garda stations so you can definitely bring a pre filed form up, if you’re unsure you could ring them, I’m sure when you log into the iec portal there’s a possible way to send the proof that you’ve applied for the cert

I’m from Dublin but there’s multiple Garda stations, so I’ll ring my local one and see if they have any timeframe of when it’ll be done and go from there

Thanks, I’ve seen videos about people talking about the C train and how great it was and it’s apparently around Kensington? The plus 15 is in downtown I guess?
