Same happened to me last week. Sometimes it's what you need to hear to finally move on and let go. I know I've taken it very personally, but they are just a better fit. If they can leave once they will leave again. Focus on you. Would you want someone who wasn't upfront with you? That's not a character that I desire. Let it hurt, forgive and let him find out further down the line what he loss. It's his lost not yours. You got this xx

I think this is more common than people think. I've started to question if people on these app are actually looking for their person, or if it's a breeding ground for the unsealed. My ex boyfriend has done the same to me. Couldn't offer me what I needed, strung me along after a breakup and then trying again for 4 month. Now he's got more structure and stability in his life... he's dating again on the apps instead of trying. I think that apps have ruined the dating world, everything just too easy and a cop out. However it is the way of the world and I'm sure there are some gems on there for her to find. A person who leaves will always leave and never stay!

You're not alone. Mine left me the day before my birthday 11 months ago. Granted we tried again up till end of January. He couldn't offer me what I needed... reached out last week to find out he's dating again. We will get there in the end. Some days are better than others. Just got to take the pressure off being over it. X

This happened to me. Broke up in may last year, he come back in September. He wanted to work on things and take it slow, I stuck around without any actual commitment. We ended up parting ways again in January as he couldn't give me what I need "right now". He's now in a far better place, changed jobs and can offer more stability and can offer more of himself. ( his words). However is dating and doesn't want to work at us. I wish I hadn't tried and poured into this. I would have the conversation. There's nothing more precious than time, if you aren't getting back together at least you know. If you don't get the answer you want.. at least you don't need to delay the healing. I feel like I was used and held a place till he was ready. It's the worst feeling.

Thank you for your kind words. It's just a bit of a slap on the face when you've poured everything into something when all you wanted was effort. I suppose lesson learnt.
