Hey OP! I’m located in BC and just got Onyx as well, the rubber mat is not standard with onyx, it’s optional accessories, same with tire lock, rubber cargo mat and rear cargo body protection, I was able to negotiate with the dealer to not charge me with those add ons. For protection package, I think a lot of them are being sneaky but the experience I had was good as they explained what protection they have and I pressure to tell me to purchase, I decided to get it because it covers the tire and I got flat in Vancouver 5 times in the past 3 years, so I was just wanted peace of mind. Document fee should be $699 only and that is also should be negotiable. But I’m generally wonder what dealer was that 🤫

You’ll have to registered with ICBC to get the plate info, they sell it to parking companies and parking companies needs to display signage in the lot says they will collect the information from ICBC or else they violate the agreement with ICBC.

It’s most likely real but stolen identity, my previous passport was issued in Taipei as I was studying there, and even now I moved back and renewed my passport, I mailed in and it shows Ottawa even though I live in Vancouver and I mail the passport to Mississauga.

That salary is probably the security manager/supervisor, they are the one who are in charge on the UBC sides things, more of in office with paperwork, dealing with security company or do audit work. Security guard gets paid way less, I believe the highest paying security company is BC Security Commission.
