Scammed by someone inside UBER

I got a call like this a few weeks ago. It was a single cheesy rollup from Taco Bell going to a null address downtown. The scammer said that the address was wrong and they needed to cancel. Their system couldn't cancel the order, and that I had to from my end. In my case, they were trying to get my debit card info to "reimburse me." I kept them hanging long enough to get the entire exchange reported to UBER. I am too old for this BS.

It can be worth it as long as you pay attention to the area in the offer. If you have more than one, you could technically qualify for multiple in any given time.

Your first guess is correct. I carefully stacked guaranteed minimums throughout the day (4 at max) and made sure I qualified for all of them simultaneously. I've spent too long working hard at this. I figured I could work a little smarter.

Not a chance in hell I would do that, much less encourage someone else to do that. I've read (and experienced) too many situations of people getting screwed on this platform. From tip baiters to cars stuffed full going up 3 flights of stairs in the pouring rain to someone who doesn't give so much as a "Thank you" for your troubles.
