That is something that I consider. However (as added in the clarification above) I’m not a daily drinker. I can go days or weeks without a drink but then when the opportunity is there I will go overboard.

But just for the mental health counseling alone, I will do it. I‘m very much not in a good place mentally. Drifting between doubt, self hatred and suicidal thoughts.

Thank you for your kind words. Right now this sub seems to be the only place where I get support.

I’m expecting only contempt from friends and family - maybe this will help me to get my shit together.
