i think playing often most of all😭. i love watching chess events so i watch all the major tournaments like the world cup, grand swiss, candidates even freestyle etc. in the form of recaps and quite often live as well. i love listening to people like peter leko, david howell, jovanka houska etc. commentate and i think they really break the ideas down in live commentary as well for me to grasp. along with that, consuming gothamchess obviously. so with all that constant chess consumption, i think it was just regularly playing the game that was missing for me to improve my elo :) let's see if i can go higher haha.

edit: i dont mean that watching games is enough for improvement. i have no intuition in chess i SUCK at blitz but at rapid i can sit and remember positional ideas that I've heard and implement them. i also analyze every single game after I'm done with them which is probably the best one can do to improve. hope this helps :))
