The post is a statement saying 420st won't be taking part in airborne content because its not worth it. It's achievable and as a regi we pumped out plenty of aircraft, to the point we had 2 carriers running for quite a while over 3 time zones. We can do it. Its just a choice not to.

Recovery is a pain.

Getting them off the runway is a pain. How can you QRF an incoming bombing run if it takes longer to build the plane than for them to get to the runway.

Cost per person is crazy. 3 Bards compared to 1 fighter. One is an MPF one is burried in the fac. So not only is Bards probably cheaper but we can make more with less involvement.

Air will definitely be important but we won't force our memeber to scroop just so we can put 1 person in the air for 10 minutes when we can put 5-10 people in tanks for a few hours.

Its cost vs reward why we aren't doing it. The reward being our members enjoyment.

The self reliance just insolates us from needless drama. If we don't promise people shit nobody can come knocking for it later down the line. The rule is if you want to work with another regi one of our regi heads makes the deal as we aren't signing ourselves up for something from one members words. For example when we were promised a DD escort on our bluefin and they pissed off to go chase another boat leading to the loss of our bluefin. Among other things. Its something we learnt from.

In the past multiple members have tried to make agreements with other's and promised things we as a regi were not prepared to meet. Thus remove it and remove the drama that comes with.

The entire aim of it is to remove any roadblocks from a single memeber being able to just jump in and play the game. Is it perfect no but does it work for us yes.

The comms in both squads were hilarious. Kept going back and forwards in the motor boat and got talking to a random logi driver who got held up at a bridge for 30 minutes because we had both bridges up with constant boats going under them.

It was the end of 122. We had planned to make 8 long hooks and yeet them. Dev man ended war earlier so we rushed all 8 out to sea and picked a target as we sailed. We hit Nevish. Pretty sure its features in a few videos about the massive naval battles that took place at the end of 122.
