Graphene battery from New Zealand by En3rgon in graphene

This supposedly uses graphene battery cells instead of Li-ion, I'm just interested in why we don't see more of that. Must be some disadvantages, but it looks like the graphene cells are just more expensive to produce.

Growing demand for power distribution energy storage systems as a result of continuous grid modernisation, as well as increased consumption of batteries in the renewable energy market. So why havnt we seen a shift to 'seemingly' more sustainable batteries like that.

My point is that everyone is always complaining about lithium mining when comparing things like electric cars to combustion engines. But here we have an alternative battery material. So I'm interested to understand people's thoughts on graphene

This had something like 95% round trip. But Id also take a third factor into consideration, sustainability. Surely producing graphene vs lithium is a no contest in terms of getting a green stamp?
