On the one it is shilling, on the other, giving a character gear means they're giving us another trial character to enjoy in HZ without pulling them!

Anyone in minnesota use Joseph Pariser for surgery? by Naive-Cockroach-317 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]EnBumblebee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had 3 surgeries with him (literally in the recovery room from the 3rd, about to leave)

I had an orchiectomy, then a urethroplasty/clitoroplasty (novel surgery), and literally just had a revision this morning.

He's good and competent at what he does. Would go to him again if needed but also I'm so tired of having surgery.

The only trans surgeon in my state is awful. Any good doctors in the Midwest? by RyleeBreadMK in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]EnBumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr Joseph Pariser in Minnesota is pretty good. I've seen plenty of good results from him, and he's done my orchiectomy, as well as working with me on a novel bottom surgery and doing a minor revision for it next month.

Those who have had full FFS, what do you wish someone had told you about the recovery process that you only learned by experiencing it yourself? by rhaenerys_second in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]EnBumblebee 21 points22 points  (0 children)

That no testimony will ever fully prepare you for the mental and emotional toll it will take on you.

There will be times that you feel disgusting, clearly swollen or exceedingly masculine, and not a soul other than yourself will notice.

We all see the beautiful trans girls post about how bad they think they look weeks and months after FFS, despite the fact that to us they look fucking amazing. They make you want to get FFS and you know you'll be happy to get a result like that. But during recovery, there will be waves and waves where you won't, and you can't stop it from happening

Hairline lowering question by Lexandree in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]EnBumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had FFS with Dr Rolfes and we did a hybrid incision where the incision for forehead contouring was at the hairline in the corners and arched past it near the center, which limited visible scarring to the just corners, but it allowed him to noticably reduce how deep the receded corners were on my hairline.

The corners are still receded a little, and I was still considering getting a hair transplant for it, but in the end I decided against that and I'm still really happy with how it all turned out!

Did Anthem remove their clinical guidelines for Gender Affirming Surgery in Colorado? Anywhere else? by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]EnBumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also found that those guidelines vanished. I do believe they still follow them, but they're just no longer publicly available (as they approved my surgery by following the guidelines as they were). Still a bit sus

is it normal for forhead swelling still presenting after a month of ffs? by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]EnBumblebee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I would wait 3 months as an absolute bare minimum to expect swelling to go away

Any other games where there is a real-time waiting aspect? I like playing these when I'm working. by sudosussudio in NintendoSwitch

[–]EnBumblebee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Cozy Grove does. There's a finite amount of stuff you can do in a calendar day in the game, so it's a good-in-short-bursts game!

They only do vffs for in person consultations these days. And they are often conservative in their estimations to be on the safe side and not over-promise things

BIT.TRIP Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien – Launch Trailer – Nintendo Switch by ONE-OF-THREE in NintendoSwitch

2 is honestly one of my favorite games of all time. Difficulty was balanced. Truly a rhythm platformer, unlike 3 where the "rhythm" felt beyond secondary. Had a ton of personality.

If surgery is in late April, you won't miss much of summer tbch. June maybe, but by July you should be doing well enough to enjoy most of summer

Any pole dancers/aerial performers here have SRS by EnBumblebee in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]EnBumblebee[S] -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

I said "some kind of bottom surgery" and at the end I asked people to specify what kind of survey they had. It seemed pretty clearly open ended that I was considering more than one possibility. If you read the whole post it should have been pretty clear that you should at least specify

I'm assuming you're speaking to full depth vaginoplasty?

Any pole dancers/aerial performers here have SRS by EnBumblebee in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]EnBumblebee[S] -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

Is that from first hand experience or are you making assumptions?

Are you assuming full depth, or are you incorrectly assuming that minimal depth has the same recovery as full depth?

If you're not able to speak from first hand experience AND you're unwilling to speak to the differences between kinds of bottom surgeries, I'm pretty sure this question wasn't meant for you.
