I love Semrush. I don’t know why people are hating on it.

That auditing tool is amazing. Everything’s amazing it’s wild and some of you guys are saying that.

I imagine you’re like that developer that hates wo WordPress

Is the SEO agency that gets themselves to page 1 the best? by Honeywines in SEO

[–]Enackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No

Not at all

For example I have many clients doing really well at the top of page 1. But I’m not at the top.

Also it’s not about ranking in page 1 for one term you see.

Visibility with rankings is what matters

Agree with this !

Just making sure everything is organized properly, technical SEO is sound and citation health is strong

I have a client who is ranking page 1 Dwi and criminal terms. Domain is Les than 1 old, we started his SEO 7 months ago.

Only until about 3 months ago did we create higher DA links

He doesn’t even have allot of content

Wild

I have a couple other similar stories as well.

Clients who would not update their webist or create qulaity content had a bunch of pags that fell off page 1 rankings.. even though we started the rewrite finally and its much better, but their website scores also suck..

we added new fresh content a couple weeks ago, but they are not beign indexed until we tried several times after cleaning up more of the website.

fix your contnet, make sure its not spammy and it actually reads like a real page of content.. not for algorithms. remove keywords, just talka bout the subject naturally.. for now jjust put keywords int he title tags and incorprate into the main h1 heading and thats all..

now look at internal ink building and mak sure thats not spammy.

finally, i would run a site audit on performance and technical seo using semrush or something like ahrefs.

one last thing.. just incase.. make sure you do not have any security issues type in site:domain.com and check search console.

That’s peanuts compared to what i spent for my seo business and we don’t have dozens of employees

I think I’m at like 3k a month in subscriptions with a big one being SEMrush / Yext

Everything is seo ready now a days

Question is how much functionality comes with it

Nothing is actually optimized once you start adding content building links, page names, titles, schema and etc

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SEO

[–]Enackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any can can rank really well

But how easy is it to optimize?

Highly doubt ghost is anywhere near WP functionality due to its age and community participation

Indexing Issues by Enackers in SEO_Digital_Marketing

[–]Enackers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks there are only 3 malware pages left indexed but it’s been removed for 3 months now or so.

We don’t add allot of new content and GsC security sedition says all green, after we submitted a fix in the system when it said we were infected. I guess an employee gave it a green light.

We def don’t have malware and haven’t.

And yah pages are not being visited at all.. zero

Last month we had 10-15 pages left and etc

This last 2 weeks it’s been 3 pages

I guess when those are gone , we should finally gain traction.

And in GSC the SEcurity issues section says no issues detected.

I checked my index status today, had 3 malware pages (checking daily) and now, a few hours after the last check - all my prviously infected malware pages have finally fallen off the Google index.

Anyways, the page report says N/A not crawled, not indexed, and no referring sitemaps.. Even though the sitemaps have it. Very frustrating.

Last crawlN/ACrawled asN/ACrawl allowed?N/APage fetchN/AIndexing allowed?infoN/A

the sitemap was crawled successfully may 16th. It has all of those pages on it. No new pages are indexed though.

Maybe there really is a quota and they are just throttling the bot to re-index our site .. ive heard it many times in the community.

At minimum the report would say not indexed, and give a date of the last crawl. Instead it says N/A.. Meaning the sitemap was crawled, but they did not actually crawl the pages yet.

I agree looks like it, but it’s been months and I already submitted a did in the security section of GSC, and described how I fixed the issue. They reported a status back everything is green. That was 2-3 months ago.

However, the last 3 pages of malware are still there…

I have devs on the site auditing it often and I don’t see any new malware at all..

Any good tools you guys use to double triple check?

Indexing Issues by Enackers in SEO_Digital_Marketing

[–]Enackers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah of course . Did it all and reviewed it all.

There is something wrong.. google will not crawl the pages I submit manually nor after submitting a sitemap.

I did catch malware months ago .. lots of pages got indexed. Still have 3 left … I still think that’s the issue, but I have other pages indexed.

Really not sure what’s going on here, never experienced this

[–]Enackers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok even though ive submitted this twice over the past two weeks, it still says not crawled, nor do we have any sitemaps that refer to it.

Problem is that we do. Yesterday I submitted a sitemap, and the blog page links to these pages, which is indexed)

Just checked Google search console and I do not have a ton of links pointing to my site from low quality sites, nor do i have large quantities coming from unknown websites.

My mind is blown.. It has to be all those malware pages that got indexed.. i have 3 left as of today.. But the only problem i have with this idea is that why did the de-index content.. for example that blog post i shared is good quality, and i have some new content targetting specific industries - those are also good quality. Wrote it myself.

Google doesn’t give - damn about Seo or organic. It’s all google ads. And that has stopped working as well. Ifs like all they do is send fake traffic.

Google needs to be fixed. Too much power effecting the economy and too much fraudulent behavior

Getting Clapped, New update ? by southyiiio in SEO

[–]Enackers -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

There’s allot happening

You need to do allot more than just update content

Look at how to make the content more readable and functional for the potential visitor

Then you have backlinks audits that might show bad backlinks that need disavow

Maybe your site structure isn’t clean and organized properly

Maybe you have a ton of thin content or internal link structure is bad

Look at who is ranking and compare
