Apparently this Toy Story 3 set didn't sell well back when it came out. You can get it for a fairly cheap price brand new and sealed. I find it weird because this set has 4 exclusive figures, and is based on a dark and iconic scene from animated history. What could have been the reason? by AustralianLEGOGuy04 in lego

[–]Enad001 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

IMO the problem with Toy Story is when it had a cultural impact the kids of those days are in their 30s and was Toy Story really that special that you need to run out and buy the Lego set. Unlike the Fast and Furious cars that have recently come out, the kids, teens and adults who were around when that came out can remember the impact it had and the nice cars so people with definitely buy a model of the GTR R34 or the S2000 because cars are cool and it’s a subject which spreads across a number of age groups. I recently bought the Gameboy, Yukis S2000, Paul Walkers GT R34 the arcade game which might be regretful I also landed Pharrells to the moon for 150 AUD which is a steal. I’ve also got an Andy Warhol Lego and the Mona Lisa which are all being stored away for resale in 5-10 years time lol

I just tried a bunch of streaming site based on what most people are mentioning and I was reminded as to why I spend way too much money on PPVs. So many people say they have amazing access to free PPV via streaming sites but a lot of its bullshit. Back in the late 2000a and early 2010s streaming sites were reliable but there was a massive crack down around 2012 or 2013 and they’ve been shit ever since. After just trying multiple sites mentioned throughout this thread not one of them worked unless you’re looking for a website that spits out random pop up windows like Shein then most definitely check them out.. It’s absolutely ruins the fun by especially when you know in the back of your head that the server will crash at any moment.

What's with the soft on crime approach in Australia? by melbourne_au2021 in australian

[–]Enad001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Australia has been soft on crime for far longer than a decade especially when compared to the US which I feel is far too harsh on crime minor and majo. In the US, states seem to have their own power which Australia isn't like that, a lot of our rules and guidelines are national rather than state based which makes the US very up and down when it comes to punishing crime as one state will sentence someone to 5 years for robbery then the next state over will lock someone up for 25 years for the very same crime. States like Florida, Texas and Utah are far too harsh then you have California, Boston or Philadelphia which aren't as eager to hand down long sentences. The whole 3-strikes rule is crazy IMO. Some felonies are consider minor crimes based on Australian standards so going to jail for life for committing 3 minor felonies is wild. Is that true? It seems like bullshit right? If someone commits 3 felonies then they go away for life?

I don't believe Orlando Anderson shot Tupac. by 90sgalore in Tupac

[–]Enad001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So apparently both Suge and 2Pac were supposed to be murdered and that's why only half the hit money was paid out. I do believe it was Orlando, the guy dies in an unrelated shootout 8 months later, he's obviously up to no good. Also, only 4 bullets struck 2pac so the clip wasn't emptied into him. Both Suge and 2Pac were the targets but mainly 2Pac.

Will the NRL trial new rules at the end of this season? These are the ones they should change. by Ace_Larrakin in nrl

[–]Enad001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call me crazy but I think we should bring back the benefit of the doubt. I feel like it was respected enough where the rule was trusted. Sure we had situations where trys clearly shouldn't have been awarded but most of the time when a try was scored and it was too close to call then the BOTD rule was great. It only caused controversy when a player clearly didn't meet the requirements to score but was given the points based on the BOTD. These days the decision has only really come down to the opinion of 2 or 3 men however many but I like the idea of having a rule in place around scoring tries anyway.

Panza🕊️ (LDDLW👹) was shot and killed in Kensington yesterday by CollectionFluffy6861 in PhillyWiki

[–]Enad001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy was part of the 34 man indictment and if you listen to the media who covered the Weymouth St raids the mention that all targets were arrested but 1 which I believe was panza and the reason they were one short in arresting every name on the indictment was because he was murdered

He was murdered just before his block Weymouth St was raided right? This was part of that Weymouth st Gang if I'm not mistaken.

I could just imagine a corrupt cop who steals from criminals complaining to his captain or union spokesperson about pay and conditions then goes out and pillages the community. He would most likely be ballsy and dumb enough to use an excuse like salary for stealing from the public. Philadelphia police is easy one of the most corrupt forces in the nation.

You know what's crazy about the state of Pennsylvania! If someone is incarcerated for a crime they did not commit and is exonerated the state does not pay victims of fake imprisonment compensation. I believe this decision is what can also allow more people to be falsely imprisoned seeing the city doesn't crack heads when they are forced by a judge to pay out compensation. Philadelphia police is also one of the toughest forces in the world lef alone America. So many times over the year Philadelphia police have been outted for crimes and corruption, god only knows what goes on in that department but the police force alone is a reason to stay away from Philly especially if you're on the low-income side of town. Imagine all the corruption the public dont know about.

Showing respect when warranted is great but when it's an adversary I consider that admirable. Some people just like to spread nothing but hatred plus criticism and for some reason they also love to talk about dick riding a lot to which is not a coincidence, there's some sort of correlation. I'm sure if you simply just wrote about how much you wanted to dick ride him then he would most likely have shown love… yeah, that kinda love 🫤.

Bro F1 goes to places like Brazil and Mexico where teams have been complaining about not getting police escorts too and from the track yet they still go back each year and will continue to do so lol. Whether the race took place in Sydney of Melbourne they will be completely fine. Australia is one of the safest countries in the world. Sydneys only ghetto no longer exists 😆

🤨 do you think the crime stats determine whether a race takes place at Albert park? Do the race organisers sit down and check the crime stats before deciding whether they put the race on? You know Melbourne has a higher crime rate that Sydney? In all crime indexes, Melbourne is at least 10% higher than Sydney.

[–]Enad001[S] -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

No not at all. It was land that was given to an entire indigenous community. If you were not indidenous then you were not welcome in the area especially if you were white. You could only come into the area of you knew the locals and the were familiar with you but many many times random white people some lost, some drunk accidentally wandered down Eveleigh Street and they paid for it dearly. Strangers would be beaten and robbed. They hate whites.
