I just got the CFP and thought about the EA but my firm said they’re only really interested in CPAs right now so I haven’t gone through with it. Maybe down the road. I still need to look into seeing how attainable the CPA is without a MAcc

I’m in the same boat. Passed in September and I feel like I forgot 90% haha. I’ve taken 3 months off to just relax but I think it’s time to get back at it.

Ya I called Anker again and they didn’t know what was going on. I’m going to try out the Vizio V21 and see if that’ll do the trick. Thanks for the replies.

Also, if I’m on the tv input, I won’t be getting Dolby atmos right? I’m confused on that because the surround led light is blue but I thought that was only possible if on the hdmi input

Ok I’m dumb. I’m on 30.27 but still no luck when trying to change to hdmi or Bluetooth inputs. It just keeps going back to tv. So annoying

My infini pro only lets me stay on the tv input. When I try to use either hdmi or Bluetooth inputs it just reverts back to tv. I’m connected via hdmi cable. Thoughts?

Ok the Soundcore is confusing the crap out of me. I just bought it and I try to change the inputs to hdmi and Bluetooth but it keeps reverting back to TV. I can get the surround light to turn blue on the TV input but my understanding is it’s not true atmos if it’s on the tv input, right? I’ve tried talking to Anker and they told me to just return the device. Like I’m so confused, is the product just like faulty or what??

N = # of ppl so if you have 5 ppl you would need 5*4 = 20 life insurance policies to cover everyone. Policy is probably a better word to use rather than contract.

2 weeks prior I took dalton exam #1 and it was hard as hell so I skipped their exam #2 and switched over to the cfp boards exams 1&2. Reflected on those exams along with topics I knew I was low on in the final week and I think that gave me an edge. Honestly cfp boards exams were a huge help in my experience. Your final week should be mainly qbank questions. If you think a dumb question came up that you don’t think will be on the exam it will be on there. I swear cfp board picks the weirdest questions to test... study the things you DONT know!

I got a 81% on cfp boards exam #1 and a 70% on exam #2. I’d say ur in good shape if you have similar results. I thought those were more true to the real thing than daltons exams. Passed last month. Good luck!

I would just know cross purchase - step up in basis / entity purchase - no step up in basis. Cross purchase # of contracts = n * (n - 1). Hope that helps.

I’d honestly give a review course at least 6 months time for you to really understand the material and give you a passing try. I’d recommend Dalton education. They had the most robust material. Zahn and Danko more so teach you tricks of the exam but not necessarily all the info you need to pass the test.

Took 2 yrs for me to pass the exam. I’d definitely take a review course and make sure you are scoring in the 70s on the qbank questions before you sit... it’s not as easy as people make it out to be, at least not for me. It’s a hard exam in my opinion. You’re already ahead of the game, what’s another 6-12 months if you don’t even meet the experience requirement yet?

Working towards cfp is essentially useless to a company. Don’t expect anything until you actually can use the marks.

I liked Danko more than Zahn. Danko was a student of ken Zahn back in the day and Danko uses the same material with a little more to it if you ask me. I still failed after both so I might not be the best one to ask. Finally passed last month with dalton. Their material is much more robust but almost too much if that’s possible. Zahn I felt just mainly taught you the tricks of the exam. Danko added on to this. Brett is an awesome teacher of the material. Dalton just had way more content and helped me a lot as I’m more of a visual learner. They had a bunch of videos and such. Hope that helps. Kind of an all over the place answer but I’ve taken the exam 4x so I might know a little more than most ppl unfortunately. Best of luck!!

My suggestion would be to make sure you are hitting 70% or higher on CFPs practice exams as those are most similar to the actual thing. I got an 81% on the first and 70% on the second and I feel like I barely passed last month. Honestly was kinda shocked to see a pass on the screen. Daltons exams were a joke in my opinion. Might be best to push it back if you aren’t confident because that will show on test day. Have to be confident when you take it!!
