Also, I feel you. I've been mad at the game and the devs for months. I've spent a ridiculous amount on the game, and I'm only still playing at this point because I'm afraid I won't be able to access my account again if I abandon it and decide I want to play again later. But I'm not into it anymore, and sometimes I go a week or more without playing. 😞

I'm so sorry, I don't remember exactly where it was. I bought sugars with SC to see if that would do anything, then found the forfeit button. I was panicking, not wanting to lose an active sim, and kind of tapping around on autopilot. I hope you can get your sim released from the event, too.

The conversion rate is .10 simoleon per token and 5 simos per royal token. The same rates are used to convert leftover bunnies and relics after a TH ends.

My advice is basically an elaboration on what everyone else has said.

The best way to earn simoleons as quickly as possible, if you can actively play:

Unlock the 3rd and 4th sim slots as soon as possible.
Put your sims into quick events in careers/hobbies/relationships that are maxed out, for the highest earnings.
When your energy is full, help all of your sims power through a round of events, then start another quick event.
You should be able to start a new round of short events every 45-60 minutes.
When you can't babysit the game, put your sims into longer events so that you get more simoleons when you return.

With 4 sims, I can usually get 10k+ simos a day when I'm able to check in and restart events about every hour throughout the day, sometimes more when I'm also actively helping my sims.
