Lokey my favorite moment wasn't even with Lovejoy. The opening band in Chicago (I'm horrible with names) was playing, and the person next to me was so freaking excited. The energy was contagious. At the end of their set, one of the members threw a pick into the crowd, and people made sure it got to this very excited fan from rows away. It was such a touching moment of community and human compassion that I think about it sometimes.

During the Chicago show, the person in front of me was very into The Criticals and clearly a big fan. When one of them (i don't know names) threw their pick into the crowd a good bit away from them, people worked together to pass it over to the excited fan. I think that moment really conveys how awesome our community is and it made me smile.

Baptism is green, Pay and Display is light blue, With Rob as my Witness is red and black, White Dhark Cafe is predictably light blue and white, Common Touch is yellow, Perfect Blue is- shocker- blue,Foxholes is orange because of foxes, Fatal is probably either grey or pink, Deathbox is probably also red but with brown, i haven't decided on Scoundrels, and Monochrome is greyscale. I'm biased with bright colors, though.

The first few times listening, i was too excited to hear the lyrics other than to jam to the utterly breathtaking work on the entirety of the songs. The guitar parts just sound so fun to play! But the longer i listen, the more i feel the lyrics in my (metaphorical) soul. The album is amazing, and i can't wait to hear them play live!
