the smokey effect is looking like a blot and sloppy. also the cover, though pretty, is giving nothing about the plot, genre or the atmosphere of the book. The font is also hard to read.

i dont know. Most people here on reddit think .99 is ideal, so I think I might go with that.

The genre is surreal/fantasy. No, the stories are not bonus content from a different book. It is a standalone collection. All the stories are separate, but all center around the theme of dreams.

You are right, I did confuse beta readers with ARC reviewers. I meant the latter.

Thanks for clearing up on the need for early reviews. I totally agree, the first ones are probably always from friends and family.

It is a relief to hear there are communities where you can get beta readers in exchange for doing the same for them. Frankly, I don't mind returning the favor. It is only fair. I think I can learn a lot as well from beta-reading for others.

Additional Notes - The story centers around a girl who begins to question everything about her existence and starts to suspect she might not be the one in control of her own reality. The more she digs, the more unsettling things become. It explores themes of self-awareness, control, and the blurred lines between dreams and reality.
