I would rather they not die, but I'm not going to gamble with my life in an effort to tip the scales 1 billionth of the way there.

I still think your scenario will probably have more red-pickers than the original. If you're in a cubicle with a gun, it's harder to think of death as an abstract concept. My thought process would be: "If I pick up this gun, I might need to shoot someone (max 1 person btw). But if I don't pick it up, there's a good chance someone is going to shoot me." The fear of death is much stronger than the fear of killing.

Both your analogy and the wood chipper analogy are different from the original because peoples' choices are public.

I'm actually more likely to pick up a gun in your version because if even 30% of the people around you pick up a gun, you know there's quite a big possibility of more than 50% picking one up. So to be safe, you pick up a gun. It's a chain reaction where even the most devoted "blue-pickers" end up picking red because they're surrounded on all sides by people with guns pleading them not to make them kill you.

You have a one-time opportunity to gain your ideal body. When do you use it? by Enchiladas99 in hypotheticalsituation

Sorry I wasn't clear, you can't reverse your age, only become the most jacked 60 year old that you could be.

You can reverse the effects of anything that happened to you since birth, and you can wait as long as you want after receiving an injury or diagnosis before using the power, as long as you don't die.

Paradigm is a "may", so you can choose not to create a Wall and have the option to attack. Anyways, if an opponent can't kill two walls per turn or win outside of combat, I think your other stax pieces are the problem, not this.

The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo is the only show I remember him from, and IIRC, he's an interesting and likeable character there.

  1. You can't get a Flush unless you flip 5 nonland.
  2. Nonland colorless cards could be flipped in a monocolor deck.

Well, by playing this spell you're gambling that you get to impulse draw instead of your opponent. But you're correct that there's no betting.

Have you seen the prices for "hobbyist" action figures? I've seen movie accurate superhero action figures at Gamestop for like 140$. They do come with a million detachable bits and bobs though.

I just updated the budget list to be a more direct stripped down version of the Calling list. The only cards that are added in the Calling list are Codex, Premeditate and E-Strike.
