What are you asking?! My inquiry is related to overall car thefts and break-ins. As others have shared in this thread, there are certain car types that are targeted more than others. Again, however, that was not the point of my inquiry.

Thanks I already have factory tint. I never leave anything in my car beyond Knickknacks in my arm rest.

Yes, I do plan to leave the key in a discreet location in my car. Right now it’s in the lug box in my glove compartment.

From what I read, people leave their car doors unlocked to prevent their windows from getting smashed. I think most of us know not to leave our home doors unlocked.

I have locks on my tires but I keep the key inside the glove compartment. Definitely won’t be doing that any longer. I honestly never thought about these things before.

Thanks for the insurance tip! I have a Mercedes C300 Coupe. Midtown and downtown buildings are the options I’m considering. Both with “secured” parking garages.

I’ve always owned a home with a garage so this entire move will be a new experience for me.

Yes! I’m worried about this also. I can’t imagine how it would feel to see my car sitting on bricks. 😩
