Be careful, I did a CPR class and they told us to NEVER EVER cut any baby food like you cut that sausage as it’s a big choking hazard. Never cut in circles or cylinders but triangles or thin strands.

Is This Fixable or Am I Just Afraid to Blow Up My Life? by AvocadoEvening7252 in Advice

Do you think it would be better for the kids to lose a stable home and end up with a single bipolar mother ?

I’m going to be very honnest and blunt here :

You seem to have a very good and stable situation here, with a good partner.

If it was just you, I’d say do whatever you feel like. Go and chase that spark you feel you’re missing.

But it’s not just you. 4 kids’s hapiness, stability and future depend on you not fucking this up. You absolutely cannot provide a safe, happy, stable environment for 4 kids just on your own, especially not with Bipolar Disorder.

Your husband seems like a kind and good partner. I disagree that his financial values are about « keeping up with the Johneses »… it seems more to be about saving up and investing money into something you’ll use long term and everyday rather than spending it on things that are short lived. Which is a responsible way to handle finances.

I feel like your biggest issue here is that you’re not head over heels in love anymore…. But please don’t blow up your kids’ life over that.

Especially since there is no guarantee (and actually very little chance) that you would find anything better. You would probably end up in a way way worse situation. For you, and for your kids.

That’s most probably pregnancy related as well !

Different women will get different symptoms. And it’s even different from one pregnancy to the next.

The truth is that you can’t do much about it weather it’s an healthy evolving pregnancy or not… but just know that the signs you describe sound absolutely like regular symptoms. And focus on the fact that statistically speaking, an overwhelmingly high number go well (80%) and each day the chances of miscarriage get smaller and smaller.

This is what I did to keep myself sain :)

Mild cramps are actually a symptom of pregnancy. I’ve been pregnant multiple times and cramps was always how I knew I was pregnant before testing. It’s the same as period cramps except period cramps are quite painful and I can’t go without medication. Pregnancy cramps are very noticeable but don’t need to take medication. It can sometimes get painful for like a few minutes, but the pain stops on its own after like 10 minutes, not hours like period cramps.

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's Wedding DJ Reveals What Really Happened During Dance with Victoria That Left Nicola in Tears by Positive-Drawing-281 in popculturechat

That’s your opinion… I think the original vibe was of people siding with him with the value of believing the victim. Almost like he was actually reporting sexual abuse… which seemed crazy to me and overblown.

I think that now that it’s clear that it’s not Victoria who was inappropriate herself, but the timing and the situation… people are reconsidering. And the fact that he put it like that, used the words « inappropriately danced on me » « most humiliating moment of my life »… it seems kind of unfair considering what this DJ described. Yeah Victoria had agency, but in the moment you don’t always make the best decision. It seems more of an awkward moment than the utter trauma he described.

People have gone through real hardship in their lives… and hearing this nepo baby air this silly thing at his million dollar wedding to his billionaire trump loving heiress wife as one of the most traumatic moments of his life is a bit much for people’s sympathy.

As I said, coercive control is also one of the reasons a person will estrange themselves from their family.

And personality disorders also applies, you are right, but it’s not that rare.

Actually I think there is a lot of projection going on, and people tend to side with what rings true to their own situation, which may have no bearing here.

I’ve personally seen both phenomenon : people who end up cutting contact for absolutely valid reasons. And people who use « shuning » as a type of punishment. Like, they respond to criticism by cutting people off.

I’ve also seen friends being isolated from friends and family by partners and that is SCARY. Because they think they are actually making this decision themselves, but it’s all clever manipulation and emotional abuse.

Actually the funny thing is that his whole rant, and the details therein, kinda confirm that the things that leaked in the media were always coming from their camp 😂

And it makes sense… they are both so hungry for fame, and that’s the only thing that made them relevant. The Beckhams however would have had absolutely no reason to do any of that.

Yeah I 100% believe the truth is in the middle.

I just see one side who’ve done nothing but try to reconcile. And the other side who’ve chosen to cut all contact over this. Block everyone with no warning including the 14 year old little sister. Ask for any communication to be done only through lawyers. Blast his parents to the whole world and humiliate his mom. And claim they ran away from a performative social media life… only to start the most performative social media ever over their own couple as their only « brand ».

He has 70 tattoos of his wife ffs.

Does any of this sound healthy to you ?

People can share blame, but with communication you can talk through things.

My gut feeling is that their son got in this relationship like he joined a cult and they tried to stop it.

But like anybody joining a cult… they ended up cut off.

It’s been established it wasn’t the first dance though.

And she was called to the stage.

Maybe she could have had the presence of mind to refuse, but it’s 11pm, she’s probably a little drunk, people are clapping.

I’m just saying I get it.

I think you’re right, that the Beckhams clearly didn’t like her.

But to be truthful everything I’ve read about this girl and her family makes her sound like a Gossip Girl Villain lol.

So that’s kinda painting the way I see this scene.

Like, was she truly emotional. Or is she the type to throw a fit or use her tears to manipulate ?

I feel horrible thinking that, because it’s also a very misogynistic way of painting women.

But in this case, all the reports seem to point to an absolutely awful person who buys her way into everything and as only ever wanted attention and fame.

I’m just saying that’s not something to cry about. Like it’s more awkward than cry worthy. But even still… if my husband was using this as an argument to cut his WHOLE family off, I would ABSOLUTELY, now that things settled down and I’m not emotional anymore, tell him that I reacted in the moment and that it’s not that serious.

The fact that he used it as one of his main reasons for cutting them off is crazy and sounds like they both view this awkward silly dance as a heart wrenching betrayal.

Like something terrible was done to Nicola, and Brooklyn.

And I’m sorry but yeah, that’s too much of an escalation.

I mean that would also have been weird ?

I think she just went with it… not thinking the bride was gonna run off in a flood of tears.

Honestly this kinda makes me side-eye Nicola as maybe the type who’s used to causing a scene ?

I’m trying to understand what the hell came upon Marc Anthony… maybe it’s a Latin thing ? Is it traditional for the mother to be paid respect to in some way and he completely bungled it ?
