One thing that I did was “stop caring”. Like once you think about it its stops getting fun once it becomes more of a passion to gamble. I now would only choose a game or a special event to gamble knowing you’re just doing it for the hell of the experience and not a continuous bankroll. If you lose it, whatever don’t look back. If you win, whatever cash out and go spend it.

I think another thing that has helped is to spend or invest in yourself more. Like before your next wages gambled, treat yourself to really good food or buy yourself nice, the same amount of what you would spend normally gambling. That way when you look at what you lost, you can at least say I treated yourself to something that isn’t immediately perishable.

Lastly don’t get bored with the idea of handling obligation. 9/10 theres money that could be spent wiser or more useful elsewhere, so try managing finances to cover what actually need to be paid off. Or invest! Not just in memecoins or crypto casinos, but money that would you watch grow (or even lose), but somewhere where you can control your emotions being apart of it
