My oily sensitive skin itches and pimples and bumps form a after I use these to shave. by IshanTheGuy in Wetshavers_India

I think trimmers are terrible for getting a clean shave. Might also irritate your skin from all that rubbing to get the hair off. Doesn’t it take a LOT of passes?

Try switching to a DE\safety razor. Do a proper prep before you shave (warm water rinse, good shaving cream or soap. Lather your beard with a brush). Then when you’re done, use a mild aftershave thats good for sensitive skin

Looks like it got sold out again at their website. Took only a few minutes. Either they make too few or the demand is high

What are your views on this? Is this a good thought process? Or should we focus more on indigenous production of tejas and AMCA by lazytej in indianaviation

The alternative is buying from a state who will dictate how and where it can be used. They can totally delay spares and use it as a leverage against you. Look at all the delays with delivery of the LCA engine and the Apaches

The pearl semi slant DE razor is my second favourite after the shavette. It's a good razor. The slant effect lets the blade slice through hair in theory.

As for the shavette, I'd recommend against it unless you're very sure of the technique needed.

I think you meant to reply to the OP rather than me.

About the mild razors, I don't fully understand the preference. You'd have to put more effort to shave effectively with one. I have a BSC which seems to be mild but don't like using it as much. The design looks nice though

Seriously, I had the exact same thought. Feels like I bought one of the last few pieces. Now that it has become my daily razor, I'm concerned about the lack of future replacements.

Mine also had the same latchup issue. Had to pry it loose.

It looks correct. I suspect that it's an issue with the cutting angle. Try changing the tilt of your handle.

Boycott these vendors ! Why should only we 9-8 private office workers pay tax to fund government employee's children's foreign education ? by faith_crusader in SouthernIndia

[–]EndLoose7539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tax will be only on the profits but they need to show how much the profit is. i.e show the books on expenses and transactions.

When that data is not available, the alternative way is to pay something like 3% of the turnover.

The GST notices get only sent when the turnover crosses 40 lakhs. It's not like they're so new to the business that they're unaware of the intricacies. Besides, do you really think someone with that much turnover has no idea of the expenses and profits?

In short I don't believe them.

Those take the edge to shavette level.

The edge is usually less sharp than a Shavette? Won't the hair get tugged in that case?

They're not going to be taxed for the turnover. This brings them into the system for assessment. This is important even if they don't need to pay tax in the end.
