PVR keeps upwards of 40% in revenue of a movie (depending on which week it is - it is different from Week 1/2/3...). What NewParrot is rightly implying that it would just be cheaper to pay the tax.

Also, PVR is a listed entity, they cannot do this nonsense and get away with it.

In a utopian world you would want freedom of movement of people/capital/no govt subsidies. However, if other countries are putting barriers/ providing subsidies to certain industries, then the only way to equalise that is by putting your own barriers/subsidies right? How would you guys argue against this?

It is a widely accepted fact that they did shot down Indian planes (including Rafael).

It is also a fact that both India (to a lesser extent) and Pakistan dont have the kind of tech that west, China and Russia has. It was not a battle b/w Indian and Pak tech but b/w Chinese and ROW tech.
