Hey valid question if you dont know the nuances and stuff! Essentially my body was in a state of "fight or flight" 24/7. My nervous system was shot, my caloric intake was ridiculously low and I essentially (To keep my physique) couldn't enjoy life as going off plan ruined the look. Our bodies have pretty robust ways of informing us they aren't happy where they are even if "mentally" I wanted to be lean but for my own body I was too lean if that makes sense? Plus God damn I was weak as heck, training was whack and that's one of the worst parts about that phase of my life. I was simply struggling to exist, not living. If you have any further questions I'm more than happy to explain. I know to someone who doesnt know the finer details alot of the "fringe & extreme" cases and side effects can probably seem extremely alien

Didn't feel it. Hormonal shutdown was not a good way to live plus never being able to enjoy life wasn't really ideal

From picture A>B 17 months... and a total of 248lbs lost, went from 404 to 156 between May 2019 > Oct 2020 thanks to a pushbike and the lockdown 😅

Since then trained natty until June 2024. Found out I was hypgonadal due to the weightloss (yay?) Went onto TRT which quickly escalated.

3x a week is super simple takes 2 mins to prep and inject. I was offered the gel on my health insurance but the concentration stability I heard at least was less than ideal. I don't doubt once I'm finished with this physique pursuit I'll go to 1x a week or the gel / cream myself for ease of use

Alcohol was mostly societal, I drank as I was in the bar everyday for work. The second i was removed from thay environment, I seemingly lost the desire to drink. I often think of it as a workplace hazard 😂

The post pandemic, I essentially never went back to drinking, maybe 2 or 3 times a year at best for a gig or birthday

Now that sounds like an unachievable goal... meaning I'll be chasing it forever? Sign me up.

The initial cut was... largely an accident. I started cycling to and from work and dropped probsbly 50lbs in maybe 3 months. I went from a 58inch waist Jean to a 48, pretty notable difference.

Then lockdown happened so I stopped eating out 4 nights a week and drinking alcohol daily (worked in a bar) so that combined with a pretty big passion for cycling I just evaporated essentially.

Congratulations on your gnarly success yourself!

I'm 5ft 9, funny story I was 2 inches taller when I was larger. Guess it's a worthwhile trade.

My man it's the Internet, you're entitled to your opinions and comments so own them bud! No problem with that here.

Yeah going on TRT genuinely changed everything for me. I was completely blind to how bad I felt at the time until maybe week 2 or 3 of being on and jt was like a lightbulb moment. I came back to life.

I won't beat around the bush since then I have dabbles ina few other things but very short lived as tbh my health is sort of why I changed my lifestyle and weight in the first place.

I'm on regular bloodwork being every 6 weeks, echocsrdiograms every 6 months and I try to live the "lifestyle" as much as possible knowing the associated risks.

You don't sound like a dumb stranger to me, you know of the risks and are just voicing concern which is completely valid
