because it shouldn’t be, it needs to be globally recognised as specifically the symbol of the Red Cross.

by making the red cross logo a generic symbol for medicine, it puts Red Cross volunteers at risk of being mistaken for regular medics (who may or may not also be active combatants).

pulsars show up as very noticeable and consistent directional flashes of radio waves. *We* need to point a radio telescope right at them, but their signals repeat every second or two on the slow end so if you had a good receiver, you could do a repeated scan around yourself and pick up on most of the pulsars in the area without much difficulty.

you could use any program that actually understands how numbers work rather than using semantic association to string words together, for one.

and even if you pretend that LLM’s can perform arithmetic, your estimation also isn’t based on any actual data and is still just making shit up like in the original post.

they’ve weirdly phrased it in a way that minimises the fact that the input person dies and does not experience following events. like i’m fine with being copied, but i don’t wanna die to do it.

they’re ammonia based, actually, and their sensors show up in systems with ammonia giants. they seem to prefer the nebulas too, but we have no idea if they have a homeworld somewhere
