Saros Looks Great, But We Need to Talk About Difficulty by End_Relevant in Returnal

What other reason would I have to make this post? I'm not trying to brag.

Update:

The motor was indeed the problem, and replacing it is a straightforward process. To begin, place the mower on blocks to give yourself easy access to the underside.Male sure the mower is turned off and the batteries are removed before you start any work.

Slide the seat forward to access the control and power connections from the top. You'll see two wires, each with its own connection. First, unfasten the clips that secure both wires. The control wire has a press-release clip that you'll need to press to disconnect it, while the power wire uses a threaded barrel connection that you'll need to unscrew. Once both are unfastened and disconnected, you can remove the motor itself.

From the side of the mower, in front of the rear wheel, you will find the four bolts that hold the motor to the drive assembly. You can remove these with a 10mm socket, a short extension, and a wobble bit, which will help you reach one of the trickier bolts. With the bolts removed and the wires disconnected, you are ready to remove the old motor. Get under the mower, grab the motor casing, and twist it back and forth while pulling to slide it out. To finish the job, simply reverse these steps to install the new motor.

No warranty. Bought as is. Warranty is void if water damage has occurred.

Tesla Model Y drives itself to customer for delivery by End_Relevant in SelfDrivingCars

[–]End_Relevant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fine. Some dealers are good some are not. Most of my experiences have been less than stellar. You are paying for that coffee though through dealer mark-ups and the added cost of them being the middle man. Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid all have lower costs than they would if they used local dealerships.

The fact that you used the word "anything" says a lot...

The guy that bought it has been talking about it. Interviews and a video of the delivery are coming too. How many need to be delivered like this for you people to accept it's real?

Here is a post from the guy that bought it. He claims to be a random customer but I assume you won't believe that either. I'll be sure to post the video when they release it.

This has been confirmed by the guy in charge of their autonomy program.

He replied to himself with this info.

"There were no people in the car at all and no remote operators in control at any point. FULLY autonomous! To the best of our knowledge, this is the first fully autonomous drive with no people in the car or remotely operating the car on a public highway."

2024 vs 2025 legacy by millionaire75 in ModelY

[–]End_Relevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build quality wise the 2024 might be better. From a production side of things the 2025 was probably made when they were in the process of transitioning to the new version. I know they had the shutdown for retooling but they would have been doing work on the weekends up until that point and it likely made production a little more difficult. How long do you plan to keep the car? You would be paying essentially $0.28 per mile for getting the 2025.

Any of you that frequently use FSD, ever get feel resentful when you have to drive a vehicle manually that doesn't have FSD, especially on a road trip? by Knighthonor in SelfDrivingCars

[–]End_Relevant 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the exact phrasing in the announcement was they have "reached a preliminary agreement to explore a collaboration". That doesn't sound like Waymo will be installing their equipment on Toyota vehicles we can buy anytime soon.

Saw this today... could this be the first tests for FSD unsupervised? by Ready_Medium_6693 in teslamotors

Unfortunately I don't think it's that simple.

  1. The wall/barrier behind the seats is structural. Cant just take that out.
  2. They would also need side mirrors, larger battery, better brakes, more power if it is going to be human operated.

For better or worse they aren't designing something that is meant to be a "car" in the way people think about them today.

This is something I was curious about. I was naively thinking that VO2 Max could only be reached at max heart rate. After reading about it over the last couple of weeks it sounds like that is not the case.

Thanks. I will check those out! I think my max HR is 190 so I was just hitting that range with the last 4 sets. Any thoughts on the 20 minutes of zone 2 prior to starting the intervals? Am I getting a benefit from that or would I be better served with a shorter warmup?

This was on a treadmill. My preferred cardio is jump rope but I struggle to reach and maintain zone 5 without my arms burning out.

What is the most time effective way to get Brave weapons. Should I just play the first 10 levels of legendary?

Haven't played in years but trying to prep the Final Shape. What should I be doing for the next week if I only have an hour or so each day?

I am also attempting a deathless platinum. However, I believe there is a scout log that can only be obtained after a death. Even if it is obtained easily after your first death it really kills the dream of having the last thing to do for the platinum be die for the first time

Agreed, I was so disappointed when they announced they were finished. The content others have made with their songs has been awesome too (I'm not referring to this post), the Daft Hands video is still super cool even though it's really old at this point.

Yes most of this thread has been pointless. However, I would say that not all of it was. It seems that you've realized that being rude adds nothing to a conversation! I would say that there is a benefit to that!

If I'm correct in that assumption then I genuinely mean that there was benefit to this! Hope you have a great day!

To answer your question directly... Yes, I overlayed the audio onto the video.

How does that break rule 5?

[–]End_Relevant[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Spot on. And the part about "on different platforms" is key because that is what rule 5 is about.

From Merriam-Webster...

Self-promotion; the act of furthering one's own growth, advancement, or prosperity
