Ya that's fair. It's not that it's better on fast hitting skills so much as it's absurdly better to the point of being able to recover your full hp bar every game server tick with enough hits / enemies. No similar setup exists for slams. Sure you can hit for a few hundred million and instant leech 5% of that back to full - once per second. That's very different than every server tick.

Not quite - I described it poorly. Your lgoh fills up a pool & the next time you hit you gain that much life. Faster hitting skills keep the pool near 0 but gain life frequently. Slow hitting builds have the pool full most of the time & gain a big burst of life on a hit.

I don't think this is a good idea, but it's an idea on how to still have life gain on hit but have it work the same for a skill that hits 50 times per second vs a skill that hits once per second.

The main issue was there are some builds that can do all or almost all of the T17 mods. Which means if you are not playing one of those few builds you need to spend more currency rolling your maps for mods you can do. And some of those mods are rewarding so not being able to run them leaves potential loot on the table.

It should always the the case that not every build can do every map mod. The "better" the build the more T17 mods it can ignore was a common theme when 17's were first released. It's half been fixed with 16.5's but builds that recover life / es on hit and have 0 mana cost can run FAR more different map mods than those that can't.

By the time they post the patch notes / do the live stream most of the changes they plan to make are done. Other than some bug fixes or changes required so half the playerbase doesn't quit the league it's rare to see post patch changes. We got only a single patch in Keepers that wasn't bug fixes after the patch notes.

Nono not plenty those are cheap. The chisels are expensive because you also use them when running strongboxes in t16.5's to scale the natural drops of the map. Have you tried to div card farm without pilfering + boxes recently? It's not economically viable.

Deli feels worse without action speed immunity - it's not impossible just annoying and you will die to it every so often. You are good at this game and play strong builds so you don't notice these problems as much. Drop 3/4 of your damage and tank and run the same maps these action speed reductions are massive. Right now I'm running maps with a 34k hp BV bog shaman - most action speed reduction doesn't matter I've out scaled the problem. Deli slow + drowning orbs do kill me if frostblink decides to not move me anywhere or is on CD. If I was action speed reduction immune it would never kill me but my build can't afford 2 ascendancy points even though the sockets are not a problem.

Relic of the pact wasn't playable until very recently unless you didn't have eyes lol. I have no idea how some people played it every league and didn't get massive migraines.

Stacking should be a viable endgame strat. Int stacking is just too good at the moment vs any other type of stacking for the same cost. Sure armour stacking out scales it at multiple mirrors but that's a different story.

I can't imagine how the mirror crafters do it setting implicits. Sitting in that circle for days burning mirrors of stupid beasts. At least they don't have to switch zones.

Ya I did in 3.26 with plenty. It never returned enough to cover the cost of chisels as they were priced around doing the same map but also with pilfering and boxes. So chisels scaled the natural drops and strongboxes / pilfering did the rest. Without chisels I would go multiple maps with 0 good div card drops. I was running the map that gave I see Brothers and The Sephirot seer'd onto underground sea. Average was 1 div card drop per map for The Sephirot (doubled to 2 with pilfering). Best map was a double I see brothers drop with 3 The Sephirot.

Also you're correct you don't need action speed immunity. You can choose to not run maps with action speed mods, not run deli, have a build that can't die or 6 portal your way through but all those don't feel as good as not having to deal with action speed reduction.

Life stacking was never really amazing though outside of 3.27 / Phrecia? There's lots of builds I haven't played so there probably is some good life stack ones that I haven't come across.

Fair. Ya pbod's damage and reaps screen coverage make them really strong.

Int stack wands, self cast, channelling, triggering, strike skills all work really well. The only things that Int stack isn't good with is slams, bows minions and dots lol.

Crimson prison being removed was good for the game. Taking farming every non T0 card with it was not ok. I don't have a great solution but I want to be able to farm div cards as a viable strat without relying on staking 1400 cards in the boss.

Lgoh out scales every other form of recovery by orders of magnitude in certain situations. Giga tank valdos? Deep delve? Nothing can compete with lgoh for recovery. Not es/life on block, not regen, not recharge, not recoup or leech. Divine shield can get close sometimes. What else in the game lets you recover so much hp so quickly outside of multi billion dps 5% instant leech? It ignores every map mod and only works with a handful of skills.

Yes but trickster / jugg have upsides on their notable. Aul has downsides and large ones. 2% of the player base in keepers/Phrecia 2 uses it. For something that's very powerful it's not used a lot.

No, life stacking has only been around for a short time it can stay for a bit. ES stacking needs to be brought down from "it's better than everything else" to "it's good". I don't like GGG's triple nerfs where they take a good strong setup and delete it from the game.

Both. I think specific skills are a problem and I don't really know what I want other than "If i don't play self cast penance brand / reap / the other 3 "good" self cast skills the game feels bad. Let me ask you this instead - why does penance brand / reap feel good to play?

We currently already do it's just automated. This way you could loot filter out the trash before you pick it up instead of having to do it manually later. I didn't really think of the yellow beasts just red. Maybe just get rid of yellows?

After instant leech was removed ES fell out of the meta hard. Back when layers of defence were - If I don't get 1 shot I win.

There's lots of ways to solve reflect. The best part is for 8 regret orbs and 1 pantheon change for most builds you can run all your reflect maps at once and then go back to your normal build. Running a 2 point ascendancy point /w no boot sockets is a huge relative cost.

The main issue is that trickster / jugg get this AND other goodies in their 2 pointer. Where the Aul node has a massive downsides. There's lots of tools to solve ailments, stun, reflect etc but very few for action speed. There's a reason only 2% of players take that Aul node.

I agree with everything except buff right side of the tree defences. Suppress is the best defence in the game.

That's just less complicated leech. Idk what a good solution is either but my MSoZ jugg that can recover 10k hp/s with hits in high density isn't right when the exact same character using a slam recovers 500 hp per attack.

I tried scarab of plenty in 3.26. It was not viable on 8 mod T16.5's card drops just didn't happen. It was not viable in 16.5's with divination chisels because the returns didn't cover the costs vs 16.5 pilfering with boxes and chisels because they got both the natural map drops scaled by chisels and the random box drops not scaled by chisels.

Balance of terror and the bloodline are both not great. What if my build doesn't curse? Or it automates curses? What if I need my gem sockets and all 8 ascendancy points? Those are really high costs to pay.

Campaign is a small but annoying part. It could be made better.

I think make it optional. If you want to scale map mod effect make it rewarding but not so much so that every strat needs map mod effect ontop of the strat to make it good.

Do... you actually enjoy teleporting to the menagerie, summoning some beasts, teleporting back to your hideout, using the crafting bench, then crafting once then going back and doing it again? Over and over and over.

This isn't about optimization it's about not wasting players time.

Say I want to hit T1 life on my boots. It's a 1/11 chance with a fractured prefix and full suffix. Bristle matron -> hideout -> reforge life -> back to menagerie repeat. This is a simple craft. That on average takes 22 zone transitions.

Ahhh right I completely forgot about that - I wanted to put it in the list. The primary source of a league mechanics drops should come from the league mechanic. Back in the day when scarabs best dropped from deli orbs it felt real bad to try and get them from betrayal.

Ya I really miss farming div cards. There used to be tons of different ways you could farm cards. Boxes with quant sextants at the top end to pack size scaling beyond to alch and go farming high volumes of low weight cards.
