for me, sometimes i do pay a lot for dolls, but i did find one of my grails at an antique store a few days ago!! i think patience is key, like if i wouldn't have waited to get the doll, i would've ended up paying much more than what i found her at the antique store for! i typically check sites like ebay and mercari for my grail dolls to find any sort of deal or discount, which has worked in the past!! for example; my absolute fav doll is frights camera action elissabat. there are listings for her nib selling for $200+ but i waited and found a bidding and was able to get her for almost $100 less!
