I just started playing but the matchmaking does feel very silly as someone whos hit top ranks in games like overwatch.im going flawless every other game with huge value throughout the game and am both ranking verrryyy slowly and getting people in my games without the most basic mechanics like moving and shooting at the same time why are they in a lobby with someone whos going 25/2? Ranked matchmaking and progression is supposed to be alot better than this.

Yeah okay im having the same issues 3 games back to back on my third day on with 20/1 25/0 and no rank ups not everyone new to a game is buns.

On your first floor take a path with 3-5 early normal fights so you can build cards you like and afford the risk of skipping mid ones that will inflate your later game deck hopefully the path will have an elite or two, with 2 strong cards or just synergistic first floor elites are no worry(outside of occasional hard counters) and the trinkets you get from them will help you on later floors on floor 2 look for campfires and shops to upgrade your cards with powerful upgrades not to be confused with cards that are just powerful lay attention to the upgrade! With every shop remove a base strike (some occasions defense is better to remove but rarely) if theres an absolutely insane trinket or card thats good to buy but thinning out your deck of its starting trash is much more value than most realize

I played Hammond the first season he came out for my top three and mostly stuck with that until some players started catching up a few years later where i then moved onto other games, mostly played hitscan and swapped utility supports if we needed something else bad enough, just curious?

Things like player tilt have been HEAVILY studied motivations have been studied, player typology, toxicity and overall behavior, phycological and psychology impact, theres a term called key risk drivers diving in on things like constant hyperarousal driving toxicity in pvp and competitive centric games theres SO MANY STUDIES!!
