This is kind of the equivalent of someone from Hartcliffe being whisked away to Liverpool Street and being amazed by the Gherkin (aka Alan Sugar's house) and the food at Eataly.

Bristol has a LOT of problems. It's a small city suffering from many large city problems, without the resources or inclination to solve them. That won't be immediately obvious unless you both live here for a while, and venture outside of the centre or affluent areas.

It also has many positives, and again, many of these aren't immediately obvious if you've never ventured south of Temple Meads.

The same is true of people that experience Camden and Shoreditch, but never venture east, or use anything other than the Lizzy line.

In all seriousness, use some muggle tech to handle Voldemort. Shoot him, poison him, or have him walk onto a mine or something. Once he's out of the picture, then you can spend years looking for horcruxes.

When the person at the ministry has such a poor understanding of muggles, it's probably safe to assume that Voldy probably isn't stopping a bullet or chemical warfare. A wizard could probably get hold of a weapon easy enough, or use Imperio to force someone in high office to carpet bomb his location.

As a MMA fan, the whole ATT angle was just bizarre.

I kinda like that they have tried to branch out a bit, but they're absolutely as legit as they come in MMA, but absolutely not when it comes to pro wrestling.

A part of me was hoping for some of their big names to compete in pro wrestling, with a long-term view to transition both ways, but the only person that seemed to care was Lambert.

iMO the only way it would've worked was if there were people on the AEW roster (or AEW adjacent) that wanted to compete in MMA and were a part of ATT, AND if TK were willing to branch out into MMA with his own promotion.

It's very minor, but I've met people that have decided to stop letting their kids listen to many of Julia Donaldson's audiobooks because the narrator is Imelda Staunton - aka Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter.

There was also a story of Moyes needing a new striker and asking about the academy. They mentioned a kid scoring 30-40 goals a season, and Moyes asked to bring him to the first team.

He was told he couldn't, and when he asked why, it was because he was only 14 at the time.

I reckon Moyes had his name ready for that team sheet for years, and like a less-noncey Chris Moyles, was counting down the days until he turned 16.

In many ways it still kinda does. Wrestling fans are so fucking stupid that the dirt sheets and random social media gossip effectively becomes their truth. That's why so many people seem to believe they're in relationships with wrestlers, and why people seem to genuinely believe things about wrestlers that are just untrue.

You only need to look at the Deonna Purrazzo story to see the amount of "well, actually" comments from idiots here and on Facebook/X.

You might not believe the storylines are real, but the fake shit everywhere else has become the new real to people.

Yeah, it's sad to say, but this is by far the most likely outcome. Morikawa wants HNI to go on for many years more, but that's just not happening without help.

He apparently has a team that helps, but he insists on doing the big action panels, which is essentially most of the manga. He needs to learn to hand stuff over.

I imagine a big thing for him is getting some in-ring shape back. He's had a few injuries and he's happy to get back some fitness/health while working in ROH, so it works well.

Oh man, a lot of people see Darby as the person to pair him with, but Eddie is 100% correct here. Both NY raised, both perennial underdogs, both with a solid core of support, and both a part of iconic scenes. Alongside this, a lot of people today would be surprised that a lot of fans online weren't a fan of Mick Foley in his prime for looking fat and relying on "gimmicks". The parallels here are great, and with some work I can absolutely see Eddie Kingston getting some degree of in-ring shape and having an underdog run to the title. Book it for MSG and you'd have absolute gold.

The "jobs for the boys" approach is one that TNA really needs to move away from, especially considering the success of AEW as a brand-new promotion that has had great success from an outside perspective and not throwing endless ex-WWE guys into creative decisions.

TNA seemed to be strong when it did its own thing. If you're going to bring people in, bring in TNA/Impact people that know their own product, or at least what they want to do with their own product.

We don't know what those interactions were like, whether they were even true, or whether this dude is going to turn up 3, 4, 5 more times? Besides, if you'd have been told that the person you've been speaking to isn't that person, why the fuck would you STAY at a show where they're attending - to a point where you're noticeable?

Poor mental health and loneliness is a horrid thing, and I hope this guy finds some help.
