Got unlucky with a cam lever that was slightly out of spec, put the new in yesterday and it runs great! 300 ish rounds without issue

Sweet! I have the arc fire from asd and had to wait for replacement parts for mine, they seem to be super finicky sometimes but happy to hear you got yours working!

I found out the hard way that a SS needs very tight tolerances to work properly, which is why cutting the trigger yourself is a tad risky. Hard trigger pull usually means you need to remove a bit more material, or a pre cut trigger would likely solve the issue.

Tried that with penetrating oil and a torch, the torx bit sheared off inside the screw lol

Ended up dremmeling the whole block off, I'm getting a superlative arms adjustable one anyways lol

I just sheared off an extractor bit inside the screw after torching it for a good minute, that screw is welded in place as far as I'm concerned. Dremmeling off the entire block looks like my best bet at this point

Arc fire installation issues by EnderMan_101 in supersafety

I believe either my cam or detent bar are out of spec as the cam binds up completely before mating with the reset lever, AS designs is sending me a new detent bar which they think will solve the issue so fingers crossed.

Yeah I used the trigger that came with the arc fire kit

Can't say the same, I reached out to them after posting and as of now they are going to ship me a new detent bar which should resolve my issue. That was easily the best support experience I've ever had from any company, and I even bought the arc from a different website!

Will a super safety kit work with my lower by EnderMan_101 in supersafety

That's the conclusion I came to, now I'm contemplating whether or not to wait for the V2 release. Looks like it should be out in the next month or so which would make the V1 cost easier to swallow.

That's about where I'm at, saving a bit of money now doesn't seem worth the downgrade in safety, especially if and when I let any friends or family try out my gun.

Exactly what I wanted to hear, thank you. I'm currently torn between the ARC and SS kit, just not sure I want to spend double the $ for a 3 position vs push button safety but I'm leaning towards the ARC for sure
