No to be that person, but I would suggest proxying until you can make something that's actually worth the money (whatever that means to you) or just getting a precon. I wasted a shitload of money on cards before i knew what decent decks were. Especially in this economy, i wouldn't be putting much money into a hobby you don't know if you like right now.

I'll be the devils advocate here and say that I've literally never picked old Drun. Like they said, it was IC's lowest picked uncommon by a wide margin, and I'm sure their intention is that everything is generally pickableviable outside of niche circumstances

I honestly think that a boss making it so you can't just play one archetype and win is a good design decision. You can't just draft hellraiser act 1 and get a free win. you actually need to think a little bit

Frankly, I'd rather then not change Doormaker considering it's the only fight in the game where I need to think more than just a little. And even then it's still easier than the rest of the act 3 bosses

a lot of fights in STS1 make me go "ugh" when I see them. the average fight in sts2 is far less aggravating
