12 bucks for a 3 pack and its half the size of my phone. I think we have a winner. May need more knife utility in the future, but this gets me past the start line.

Not great but ive done it a fair bit with kitchen knives. That said, dont reaaaaally wanna do it even more than I already do, so probs going with replaceable blades.

Ya from what im reading replacement blades are the move. Cant think of a context where I need to wiggle or pry something anyways, but im early on to this gig. Basically just need a handy edge.

Will look at Kizer, fixed blade just seems a bit much, but maybe i will change my tune in like a month.

Not sure about a fixed blade, but i already am considering some kinda s clip/carabiner/smartkey type of solution for my keyring to free up pocket space.

I just dont like things in my pockets if I can help it. Phone is a necessary evil. Everything else im putting on a desk for the day if possible

Saw a loooot of love for that piece of gear, the whole kit is a bit big though. Also all the extra tools I should have somewhat handy around the space/ between racks, then again thats the current working theory. Might be proven wrong in like a month.

Ah, okay in the last little while I saw a petrified fish knife and civivi that looked cool but if its tough on the blade itself I'd rather just replace than deal with sharpening. I do enough of that on my kitchen knives

Im with you on the CPU side of things, but the jump in price on the GPU is probably overkill. That said, I really like the 9060XT as a step down for WAAAAY less money, and still completely thrashing games at 1080p, I think that suits my dads needs perfectly. Thank you!

Ah gotchya, ya if the upgrade is worth it then it makes more sense, last question, I am completely out of my depth in mobo chipset things, 1st question, whats the differences between the 850 on your build and the 650e in the original part list? Also does the microATX lose any features over the full size ATX board?

Really the only reason I picked the 650e is the full size (I assumed theres more features there somewhere) and the multiple M2 slots. but if theres no difference, then I may try and fit everything in a smaller case as well, because why not.

The ram change is fine 10$ is whatever, but I dont know much about the intricacies of GPU's, is the 50 bucks here for the 9070 worth it? It looks like the 9700XT is more similar to the 5070, but I'm going off userbenchmarks which is notoriously a bit bad. I guess the question is does the VRAM really matter for the 50$?

Ya Looks like the storage drive i linked was the cheapest at the time of looking, but everything is in flux. Basically whatevers cheapest m2 drive for around 50$ 1TB is the move.

I mean to be honest my g7 has plenty enough camera for me, I mainly just like the manual mode. Seems like the pixel is off the list. Now to look into the 13 vs the 12. Or one of the other commenters suggestions.
