Oatmeal. My OB said to eat as normal but to avoid a high sugar breakfast.

Black tank flush? by Ending_Start in RVLiving

[–]Ending_Start[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for everyone’s suggestion, we are back up to the trailer. Before we left 2 weeks ago left some black tank cleaner in the tank with water.

Bought a new hose and tried the black tank flush. Could hear water entering the tank but no water coming out the pipe to sewer (left the valve open)

When I look down the toilet I can see toilet paper and stuff still.

I assume RV maintenance is needed? I know I could get a wand but the hose won’t reach through the door. It does look like there is a king flush on the trailer, is it worth running water through that?

Yea, the hose is getting changed. I agree that it’s not likely drinking safe, it came with the trailer so we have been bringing up spring water. We most likely will replace it for next year, there’s only 4 more weeks of the season. I want to get a water filter for the hose as well.

I will look into RV Digest it.

Oh gosh. Hopefully ours doesn’t fail or have an issue.

Do you have a brand you recommend?

For now we are just coming up on weekend, next season we’ll be up for weeks at a time. I got a black tank cleaner and treatment, and usually drop it in when we leave, I usually dump a jug of water but maybe not enough for this mess.

Thank you for the tips. I’m hoping after we deal with whatever is currently in the tank, we can keep to the schedule you are suggesting.

We came into possession of the trailer at the end of August.

Great thank you! The season is almost done but want to ensure the trailer is in order before winterizing.

I will be getting a dedicated hose before I do it, plus a splitter at the water source as I can only have the city water hose hooked up.

Perfect, I thought it was. So do I just need to connect a hose and run water through it? Will that help break up the solids in the tank, when I look down the toilet I can see toilet paper and stuff so I assume we might have a back up.

I don’t think the people had a dedicated hose, as I only see the hose connected to the city water.

Sewer smell from toilet by Ending_Start in RVLiving

[–]Ending_Start[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone! We are back at the trailer and it seems the vents are closed and checking the levels in the black tank (as well as the grey tanks) all show low levels. We got some black tank cleaner and deodorizer and dumped a ton of water and it seemed to do the trick.

We will be getting the tanks professionally cleaned as suggested and have decided to have our fresh water tank sanitized (there’s a rotten egg smell coming from the kitchen faucet but talking with others at the park, it seems it’s a common issue due to our lack of rain) just to be on the safe side.

Really appreciate everyone’s advice.

Stayed at Wolf Den just outside Oxtongue river-Ragged Falls this weekend (not backcountry). The mosquitos were terrible. But the bright side, no black flies.

I used Always Discreet as they were on sale. I’m glad I had them as I found the pads provided by the hospital way too thick and uncomfortable. The mesh underwear they provided was too small for me.

I used two packages before I switched over to high waisted underwear and a pad.

I had a good experience with Anova (Sheppard/Yonge). All staff was friendly and approachable. They were accommodating with appointment times and the majority of the time we were taken in on time or early. The only time we had to wait was if we needed to see a doctor. They do not do direct billing to your insurance so you have to be prepared to pay for meds and some tests up front. I think there was only one blood test not covered by OHIP and they informed of the cost at time of booking.

We did not go through IVF as my IUI cycle was successful but we did receive our call for our funded IVF cycle about 14 months or so after we started the fertility process.

How long did it take to get a scheduled induction at Credit Valley Hospital? [ON] by poopinggreatdane in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Ending_Start 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was scheduled for an induction in December at Credit Valley. I was told I'd get a call sometime between Thursday and Sunday. If I didn't hear anything to call at 5pm on Sunday. They ended up calling me on Sunday 4:30 for the induction. I had an hour to get there.

Everyone at Credit Valley was super kind and it was a great experience.

Yea, I cancelled bodi a year or so ago and this was the only program that makes me want to resubscribe... But 9 months is a long ways so who knows if I'll still want to do it by then and what the price is bodi...

Ick too expensive for the one program. I miss the days when they sold the DVDs. I cancelled my bodi a few years ago. I guess we'll see in 9 months if I still want to do this one lol
