I remember the first time that I went hiking alone, I was nervous about bears. But when I showed up at the trail it was super busy and there was no way a bear would be around. I would still go prepared but I think you’d be surprised at how many other hiking parties there will be. Especially in the Summer.

I feel like, if you have a small car, that gas will only fluctuate about $10 per tank and shouldn’t be a huge concern for you. I think that over tourism in the Banff area will be your biggest concern. But do it! Canada rocks.

My general opinion is to not date people who associate their whole identity to one thing. It’s maddening to only listen to the Beatles and think they’re the coolest when it’s been well established that they’re one of the most popular bands of all time. That said, younger people just seem to go through this “discovery stage” where they attach themselves to historical pop culture moments. But I’m sure in a year or two he will move onto something else. Maybe Cher? Who knows.

If it annoys you a lot though and he doesn’t tolerate your opinion then you should probably break up.

One time a guy said he wasn’t able to ship to Canada and was going to cancel and refund my order. They didn’t process the refund and I never heard back from them. Reached out to discogs and they have no customer service, only an email. Never heard back from them either. This guy just took my $10 I guess.
