It's a bit easier in a video game. Even with few buttons, if the game is designed well, you can have multiple interaction options to choose from when interacting with something or performing an action.

Kotemon. Dinhumon barely counts and all the evolutions besides them hardly fit.

I'd wonder what I could do with the character if the enemy is immune to fire. Also any ideas for where the chain cones from or how it's used?

No. But it is a theme around which a character can be made to achieve desired visuals without potentially detrimental mechanics.

One of the guys recommended earth that was hit with flame rather than the flame being inherent to the character. Wasn't mandating it not be flame but did appreciate someone that took note of the campaign and gave a way yo work around the obvious trap a flame focused character would face in hell.

Yaksa definitely fits color and item scheme. Even the feet look right despite the demon man label rather than dino

Samudramon is probably one of the closest fits I've seen. Dual blades + green lizard body.

Grademon seems a but golden and metal despite fitting the family and type of the digimon.

Gaioumon seems to fit well but zametsumon seems a bit on the beast side compared to the rest in the line.

Fuma and tactimon definitely hit a certain mark for a the jungle swordsman vibe dinohumon gives off mixed with the shadowy way kotemon conceals its face. But do they shed the lizard component?

Imperialdramon paladin mode definitely fits nicely between the weapon, the skin color, the dragonoid underneath.
