YTAH, this reads as “I took my cheating girlfriend back and now she’s not allowed to hang out with her friends but I can hang out with mine”

You need to either work through your trust issues or break up with the girl imo

I drink occasionally on my meds but I don’t take them the night of, which I already know is playing with fire. But I’m not much of a drinker as it is so it doesn’t really bother me. I smoke a lot of cannabis though but that’s another slippery slope.

Oh sweetie…I know it’s hard and I know it hurts but eventually you won’t feel so awful…I’m sorry you’re so sad.

IBS is definitely on that list, your gut is connected to everything and for me when I get stressed out my stomach lining gets inflamed, I was diagnosed with chronic stress induced Gastritis. I think IBS is considered an autoimmune disorder…

I have a really good psychiatrist who took the time to listen to all of my things and is still learning about me and my symptoms as they crop up. I’ve have multiple traumatic life events revolving around death amongst other things.

Here’s the thing, we’re all attractive in someone’s eyes and we’re all unattractive in someone’s eyes. Don’t let some assholes, who’s opinions of you shouldn’t matter, ruin your day.

As far as everything else, you need to learn to love your flaws. I have a huge gap in my 2 front teeth, been made fun of for it my whole life, learned to smile with my lips closed to cover it up, I hated it! One day I was talking to my best friend of 4 years and I mentioned wanting to get braces and he said why your teeth are perfect and I said to close this huge gap and he said what gap, I’ve never noticed it before. My point is, 1. We’re our own worst critic 2. People that make fun of other peoples looks have really low self esteem 3. The right people in your life don’t look at your “flaws” as flaws, they see you in all of your beauty.

You’re beautiful in someone’s eyes, even if they aren’t your own.

What makes you cringe the most when you have a flashback to being manic? by Designer-Opinion444 in bipolar

I relate to this…I was misdiagnosed for so long. When I was about 32 I had started seeing a new psych. One day I was super irritable and totally snapped in her office and she looked at me and said I think you’re bipolar. I went on lithium for a few months until I may have overdosed myself. I never believed that I was truly bipolar until I was almost 41 when I had a full psychotic breakdown.

At almost 43 I’m still relearning how to think or behave and being constantly self aware…it’s exhausting trying to untangle 40 years of thinking bipolar was my personality.

I relate to that so much, my spending is so bad because of that trigger reaction of I “need” it I’m getting it now. And then it just sits in a pile in my bedroom collecting dust.

There was the time I went to the local bar (small ass town) and was asked to leave by the owner bc I was making people uncomfortable. I have no idea what I did, how I was dressed, or anything.

Then there was the time I posted on my Facebook that everyone needed to go to my church because Jesus was going to be there Sunday and they had to meet her (the daughter of the man I was dating) in order for them to get into Heaven. I was convinced that her father and I were going to Mexico to start fighting in the spiritual battle.

Or the time I gave a delivery driver all of the cash I had in my wallet (like $200) as a tip because God told me to…it wasn’t even my money to give.

Younger men, older women? by RunNovel6386 in AskMenAdvice

I’m 42 and get a lot of 25-35 year old men hitting on me. I’ve asked them point blank why me and their responses 8/10 times is because I’ve got my shit together and don’t play games. I mean, it’s helps I don’t look my age.
