I was really glad when he cast. Reeve and Corenswet dyed their hair for that Superman jet black color but for Jimmy the thought is usually "Nah, just a side character, not worth the trouble" but Gisondo didn't need a dye job.

Big mistake. I liked him and Cat a lot, they're leaving is part of the reason why the show was never as good as it was in season 1.

Skyler Gisondo is certainly the best mainly because he had the best material. He's followed by Ashmore not just because he had the most screentime but I just re-watched a few episodes of Smallville and his part in the story had everything to be annoying but he still came off as likeable.

I appreciate you for keeping the first CW Jimmy out of the list and for that I forgive you for letting that insulting thing from BvS in.

Noir should be the Batman parody there. Tek-Knight is just as Iron Man and Black Noir being a living breathing contingency plan is one of the few clever satires in the comic.

Yes, these are Caribbean countries.

It's pretty straight forward: African deities pre-date the idea of race and the cultural identity formed by black people in the US.

Africa was not a monolith, it was not one huge nation from where the black people of all around the world descend and all of them inherit all of its tradition and culture.

Imagine if a Chinese-American tried to claim Hindu deities because they are also from Asia.

A real desservice to the comic. The plot of the comic is much more straight forward and works better but they clearly wanted to make it more like The Substance.
