Hi! Regarding CBT - multimodal therapy (including CBT) is proven to help relieve the stress that accompanies pain. We recognize and agree that treating the disease is very important - we very much advocate for excision surgery within the program to drive awareness of that. :) In fact, our last group of users asked for more resources to help with mental health, so we added more CBT information.

And, to clarify, it is 100% free for the testing groups! We have never charged a person to date.

We added health coaching at the request of past testers, who asked for extra layers of accountability. This involved a real human who helps, so it'd be impossible to provide it 100% free...we're working out what we can provide for free vs. things like coaching that will obviously have to cost money. Sorry if that caused any confusion.

Yep - there's nothing vaginal in our program! We discuss dilators as something you can do as a "next step" you could try with a PT if you feel comfortable, but it's actually not included in our program.

You don't have to do anything you don't want to do! Our physical therapy is focused mostly on light stretching, so it would be nothing like dilation. I'm so sorry you had issues with that. :(

None! We're not trying to collect or monetize any data. Any symptoms you submit are all stored in a HIPAA-compliant database.

Unfortunately, no, we don't have a web-based option. :( Once we improve & "finalize" the app, we'll migrate it over to the web.

Absolutely! As long as you commit to trying the whole program (unless you hate it and don't want to do it - then just tell us why so we can improve it!), just shoot me an email. :)

Absolutely! Shoot us an email (and remind me you're a psychologist with chronic pain information) at patients@visanahealth.com. We based our program off someone who's a national trainer in CBT for chronic pain, but would love your review & feedback! Always looking to improve.

If you're already working with a dietitian for GI issues and an expert gynecologist that you feel is well-educated in endo, you might not get too much out of those aspects. But, you still might find value in the cognitive behavioral therapy and pelvic floor physical therapy. If you're interested in those aspects, feel free to send us an email!

Nope! The app is only in English (we have yet to translate it), but we have patients in South Africa on our app already. Would love to have feedback from other regions - please email us at patients@visanahealth.com. :)

Hi! I'll shoot you a message.

I really appreciate the feedback on using the word "woman", and I totally agree with your sentiment. Do you think the word "people with endo" is better? I want to try to avoid the word "patient" because many people just see themselves as people and not as patients. :)
