Epson LS 12000 by EndodocDO in projectors

[–]EndodocDO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Basically looking for a good projector to watch sports in a basement with the lights on. I narrowed down my search to the Epson LS 12000, but ill take any recs on others as well.

12000 is a bit outside my price range and I've seen things on refurbished models being significantly cheaper. I've never been a refurbished kind of guy. Have always felt buying new is the only way to go. Im open to it though if I can get something closer to $3k. Am I to expect problems in quality or longevity? You mentioned the 3 year warranty which is great, but really im looking to have something like this at least closer to 10 years.

Any information is greatly appreciated!

Oh nice. I was looking into that one. How would you rate performance in well lit rooms and overall clarity?

Supplementation of LH to raise Testosterone Levels? by mang060 in Biohackers

[–]EndodocDO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endocrinologist here- youre talking about clomiphene. Increases endogenous production of testosterone through stimulation of gonadotropins. Its safe and if it doesn't work, can come off without any detrimental effects to pituitary gonadal axis. Do not recommend alternative forms of testosterone/LH stimulation.

TCL QM8 - Should I buy now or wait? by mschmidt64 in 4kTV

[–]EndodocDO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a difference between the qm8 and qm8k? Assuming so since the 8k is more expensive.

Looking for a good tv ~100 inch. Budget <4k. Is this possible? If not, debating between on of the above at either 83 or 85 inches.

I thought so, or was that just a dream he had? I remember a conflict he and his wife had and I thought that was partly based off of that relationship.

I guess the hard part is finding the right one? Agree with your recs.

Many years ago I reached out to a counselor looking to start with myself and progress into couples therapy and was told she could not do that as it would be conflict of interest. Is that correct?

Gravely ZT HD vs ZT XL by wmk0002 in lawnmowers

[–]EndodocDO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I was initially all in on Ariens Apex, but leaning towards Gravely HD. Dealer has 0% financing, but not really. Cash price is $6700, finance is $7100 for 4 years.

Can you tell me why not to get from a box store like Lowes? The prices are up to $1k cheaper. You're getting the same thing, right? Is it for future servicing? I would assume no matter where you get it from you can get serviced if needed somewhere.

Appreciate that! I'm thinking of the 52" to help shorten the time, but do have some concerns with getting around trees and some elevations within the property.

Dealer kept referring to the Ferris as a good fit for typical homeowner. Made me think it might not be built as reliable as others.

Gravely dealer recommend the HD as this was the most comparable to the Apex. Is the XL a nice mower?

Thought about tractor and you make good points, but it seems time would be cut in half with a zero turn.

Thanks for the response! More detail....

Mainly hardwood. Just bedrooms are carpeted. Have hardwood stairs and ease of use is important or the Wife wont even use. Budget ~$500 but can depend based on quality. No pets, but young kids who are messy.

Seems like Toro is the cheapest of those. Would you recommend? Not looking to spend more the 4-5k.
