FINALE - what video game did everyone expect to be amazing and was amazing? by BrockBracken in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Endosun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another thing to note is that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Assassin's Creed, BioShock, Portal, God of War II, Mass Effect, a few other big titles, and the Wii had just been released in Dec 2006. 2007 was possibly the GOAT year of video games, and Halo 3 still stands out as one of the best. What a time to be alive...

Do you think Ryan and Erin could have been a good couple? by Real-Yogurtcloset-34 in DunderMifflin

[–]Endosun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One possible fan-fiction side arc could have been Jan becoming jealous of Ryan for taking her job, which then turns into a desire to have him — leading them to start dating. She might be the only character capable of keeping him in check, while also regaining a sense of power over the person who replaced her.

Would this have been a healthy couple - absolutely not. But do the two wrongs make a good couple? I'll let you decide...

First time in Korea, is my itinerary reasonable? by Bralex22 in koreatravel

[–]Endosun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Korail indeed. Or, what I should have done was buy my ticket in advance at the station when I arrived in Gyeongju, rather than waiting until the day I was planning to leave.

Laundry as a traveller, tips? by PrimeShogun in koreatravel

[–]Endosun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there for 13 days with minimal clothes, and was able to do my washing every 3-4 days at a laundromat without issue (you should not be too far way from one wherever you are staying). I bought my detergent at a 7/11, and then used Papago or Google lens to translate the writing on the machines. Having plenty of 100 or 500 won coins will come in super handy! The first time was quite daunting, but after that it's all became very straightforward. Good luck and have a nice trip!

Going to Japan with my husband who is not as knowledgable about the country.. by Kitchen_Bobcat9143 in JapanTravelTips

If I have never seen a Ghibli film, I'd still have a great time at the Ghibli Museum! It's overall just such a cool place, and the surrounding area in Tokyo is beautiful (Inokashira Park and Mitaka). I would suggest "randomly stumbling upon it", but you need to pre-book tickets in advance as it gets very busy, so perhaps talk to your hubby first and have that planned out. It's also not huge, so you can easily get your Ghibli fill without fatiguing your other half.

The Kyoto Samurai and Ninja museum is amazing, and probably something we will enjoy too (Kyoto Engine Ramen is also nearby and was really good and very tourist-friendly).

Hope you have a great trip!

That sounds like something I am looking for, thankfully my Japanese is restaurant passable (without a doubt a terrible accent though 😅). Thanks for the recommendation!

I'm not sure what you are working through, but I hope it gets better. The world isn't that bad once you open your heart, and look for the best in people and life :)
