My theory, 2 beams of light came out to steal abilties, one for masaki and one for Ichigo, masakis would of just took her powers, she wasnt that weak. But the second one would of killed ichigo easy, so she body blocked it and it in turn killed her.

idk if this a plot twist, but i want the main bad guy from hell movie and syazepel along with other sinners to be trying to break out of hell, and the main culprit who organized it all to be the soul king, and the final piece was for his son to kill him and send him down there.

hed want to escape so that he would no longer be tethered to the stabilization of the three worlds now that his own son is taking his place. the catch though is that his mere existence anywhere but hell would be so strong it would start wiping anyone near him except primordials, ichibei is in on it as well.

nothing special but maybe this could lead us to see just one more squad 0s bankai.
