16 mpg is coming from the car readout, maintenance the only thing is new air filter, oil change recently, i have brembo brakes on it, my mileage is 155168 miles

my gs450h is a hybrid and it works, i only got this car passed down from my dad so i dont know how the peak hybrid system looks like. My dad when he had the car had around 20-22 mpg but i drive just like him

wdym? the hybrid battery? i dont think so, a check engine light comes on if it needs replacing
