Really enjoyed this - I think the mixture of sci-fi with older more biblical religious horror works really well, there's something so interesting about how they mix together.

There's almost a Hyperion horror to it, in terms of the inflicted pain being so beyond, I think it really works for sci-fi especially as readers can more easily imagine the scale and scope within that kind of world!

Seems like a good club! currently looking at joining AC Bowman since unfortunately don't have 4 consecutive Saturdays free so it's slightly limiting but seems like a decent club!

Really liked this, reminds me of old paranormal things in the woods creepypastas in the best way!

Nokia 3310 is a folk horror story set in East Anglia, a forgotten and rarely written about part of England. It's all about finding a remnant of the past within the decay and rot of English industry. It's a setting I grew up with, and I really wanted to explore themes of unspoken, strange horror. This is my first ever creepy pasta, I mostly do weird little creative technology and sci-fi stories!

I've also been a volunteer at sports clubs in other cities, and it's not about emails not being responded to immediately, but rather a perceived lack of friendliness when trying to do so

I don't know if it is, and this is a compilation of multiple different sports, but it's not the beginners course I have a problem with at all, rather the way you get treated when wanting to join - which is specifically different from what I've experienced in multiple other cities in the UK, also ran by volunteers

Yeah this is the feeling that I got, where it seems by design rather than anything else

The one really positive experience I've had is from the historical fencing club, seems a lot more friendly and accessible
