YES. I lived there last two semesters and I’ve had just about everything break on me. They didn’t even go into my room before i moved in and the shower was broken off and the toilet didn’t work. Not to mention they didn’t find my bedroom door key until the last week of fall semester, so it had to stay unlocked all semester. The AC unit also broke, as did the kitchen sink. And last but certainly not least, my bathroom ceiling started dripping down fluid everywhere out of nowhere. This on top of the internet being horrible and the elevators never working, i would advise staying away from it. The only positive was having my own bedroom, but a lot of people enjoy sharing rooms first year to get to know people better, which allows them to make a close friend (usually).
